Here at Open Closet, we will refund or exchange any full priced items that you are not completely happy with. We understand that you are not able to try on the garments before purchasing.

Please note do not accept returns or exchanges on Sale items, discounted or non-full priced items (no refunds will be issued on sale items), if the Sale item is faulty due to the manufacturer and there are no stock to exchange, a refund can be issued.

We offer free shipping (standard postage - 3-5 work days within Australia) for the first exchanged item on most items - please contact us to make sure that this applies to your item. This offer excludes international customers.

Please note - free return shipping for exchanges are not available for our Sale items, or for multiple returns (exchanges after the first return).

Terms & Conditions

1. Item(s) must be be returned within 7 days (14 days for international customers) of receipt.

2. The goods must be in original condition, in their original packaging with all tags still intact. Should items be returned with marks or stains i.e make-up, tanning products, soiling etc. a cleaning fee will be deducted from your exchange or refund. Should the garment be unable to be cleaned you will be contacted by our customer service team.

3. Exchanges can be made as a request only and this is subject to availability. If your requested garment is not available, then a refund or store credit will be issued and you will be notified by email.

4. Please note, no refunds or exchanges accepted on sale items.

Returned items that are not received in their original condition will be automatically returned to the customer. We reserve the right to reject a return if we conclude it is not in a new condition.

Return postage costs will be at your expense.

Returns are processed as soon as they are received. Please send an email to service@opencloset.com.au to notify us of your intention to return or exchange an item before returning the item.

Please remember that we take no responsibility for return items lost in the mail. Please also include a note so that we know what is to be done.

Faulty Items

All items are thoroughly inspected before being sent out to customers to ensure a high level of quality in the garments you purchase from Open Closet.

We are happy to replace, repair or exchange goods in the case of a manufacturing fault. If the item cannot be repaired or replaced, you will receive a full refund.

Please email us at service@opencloset.com.au if you your garment has a fault.

Sale Items/Discounts/Promotional Discounts

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or store credits for Sale items or items purchased using a discount coupon or code unless it's faulty. Please choose carefully.


Should your shoes don't fit, we can exchange it, provide you with a store credit or issue a refund - as long as the shoes are returned unworn and in its original conditon.

With all other accessories, we do not offer refunds or store credits. Please choose carefully.
